The Australian Family Migration visa programme allows for four
categories of people with family links to migrate to Australia
courtesy of a family member who may have attained permanent residence
or is a citizen of Australia.
The 4 categories include Partner Migration (spouse, Fiance(e),
Interdependency visa), Child Migration (child, Adoption,
Orphan Relative and Dependent child visas), Parent Migration,
and 'Other Family ' Migration (aged dependent relative,
remaining relative and carer visas).
Ugandans who have a family member with permanent residence status
may therefore have a realistic chance of migrating to Australia.
