If you are visiting Australia and the purpose of your visit falls in the categories business reasons, medical resons, touring, or attending conferences, these are the requirements you will need before you can be granted a temporary residence visa.

You will be required to prove that you can sustain (financially) your stay in Australia for the entire duration of your stay there. You must therefore have enough funds set aside to cover your expenses during the stay.

As is the case with the other western consulates, you are also required to prove that your trip to Australia is temporary and you have intentions of leaving Australia after the expiration of your visa. As such, you should prove that you have irrevocable ties in Uganda and these may be social responsibility, cultural ties, a decent job, assets like land, buildings etc.
