If you are planning on travelling to the US for business or pleasure, you need to acquire a non-immigrant "visitor" visa.

The visa grants you a temporary stay and typical applicants include people who are going to the US for business trips, Medical reasons, visiting friends or family, conferences or seminars. In order for you to be granted a visitor's visa , these are the requirements you will need:

You will need compelling evidence of financial ability to sustain your stay in the US for the stated duration of time. This may typically be a Bank statement.
